Turkey promotes film at Cannes
The Turkish ministry of culture and tourism is gearing up to promote the Turkish film industry at the 60th annual Cannes film festival.As part of its promotional drive, the ministry will set up a Turkish pavilion in the village of Cannes and organise a series of events. Turkey to host Live Earth concert
Turkey is set to host one of the Live Earth music concerts being held simultaneously across the world on July 7th to raise awareness about the dangers of global warming and climate change.The concert will be held in Istanbul and will feature both local and international acts, although the line-up has yet to be decided.Other concerts are set to take place in Rio de Janeiro, London, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hamburg, Johannesburg and Sydney. Turkish PM calls for early elections
