Turkey Property High speed train to undergo test
Tests after the first phase of a high-speed railway building programme which will link Istanbul with Turkey's capital Ankara will get underway in May.Turkish State Railways (TCDD) made the announcement that preliminary test services will commence on the Ankara and Eskisehir section of track, which will boast a reduced journey time of 70 minutes, down from 180, reports the Turkish Press.According to TCDD, the infrastructure of the railway is in place and signalisation on the track will now be checked.Trains which were purchased by the Turkish Ministry of Transport from Spanish company CAF will...
