Turkey Property Foreign investment reaches record levels
Turkey received a record $21.9 billion (£43 billion) worth of foreign direct investment (FDI) during 2007, it has emerged. Figures released by the country's Treasury this month revealed capital inflow to the country worth $19.2 billion through privatisations, mergers and acquisitions and property sales to foreigners worth $2.95 billion, reports Today's Zaman.
