Sustained success leads to added route

New flights to Turkey announced
Britons are to get even more opportunities to visit the Turkish Riviera thanks to the opening of a new flight route from the UK with SunExpress.Departing from London Stansted, the low-cost airline will start flying on February 8th, with flights scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays between the Essex airport and Antalya, a terminal near the Mediterranean coast.Flights leave the UK at 10:30 arriving in Antalya at 16:30 local time, with the return leg scheduled for 07:05 landing back in Britain at 09:30.Two million people already use SunExpress services, an airline that was created by both...

Airline numbers to swell to Turkey
As more people continue to flock to Turkey, with its golden beaches and cheap property, Turkish Airlines reports that 10.1 million people flew to the country in 2006, 4.7 million using the carrier.Turkish Airlines also announced that it has experienced 20 per cent growth every year for the past three years, beating the European average of five per cent.In addition, it expects similar large growth this year, with Turkish Airlines hoping to carry 20 million passengers in 2007.
