Dogus Turgutreis Marina - Bodrum

Dogus Turgutreis Marina is one of Bodrum's three marinas and is situated in the furthest western point of the Bodrum Peninsula, between the Gulluk and Gokova gulfs. It has only been open since 2003, meaning it has all the latest features and is in top condition. 

Bodrum is in the Turgutreis district, which is famed for its beautiful waters and islands. At this point, where the Mediterranean meets the Aegean Sea, there are 14 Turkish islands all worth exploring, as well as the Greek islands of Kos, Kalimnos and Patmos.

The spacious marina has a berthing capacity for 550 yachts in the sea and 100 yachts on land. Each berth has access to water, electricity, television and a telephone, as well as toilets, showers and laundry facilities. The marina staff are trained to the highest standard and will assist with mooring all entry and exit customs procedures as required.

A range of technical services are available at the marina to ensure your boat is maintained to the best quality. Vessels of up to 100 tonnes can be borne by the travel lift and there is a dry-dock service and slipway. Specialist workers also offer repair or maintenance services in a hangar, hull pressure washing and cleaning, painting and polyester works, engine or machine repair and maintenance and electric-electronic works. If you need help with the outer workings of your boat, the marina can also perform woodworks and furniture work, lathing and metal works, sail and canvas works, along with rigging and equipment works.

The environment at the marina is kept to a high standard as sea water circulation pumps have been installed. There is also a waste water collection and treatment plant and bilge water collection service. These measures mean the marina has been awarded with a Blue Flag, which certifies that it has met challenging maintenance and environmental criteria and is among the 14 cleanest marinas in the country.

Once you're settled in and are secure in the knowledge your boat is being well looked after, as well as being under 24-hour surveillance, you can begin to appreciate the huge number of leisure attractions on offer at the marina. Dogus Turgutreis offers much more than a regular marina, including a yacht club with swimming pool and children's park. While the kids are being entertained, parents can relax at the fitness centre or in the sauna, or play a few matches of tennis on the courts. There is also beach volleyball, nearby parks with beautiful walks and an amphitheatre, which comes to life after dark with a program of entertainment.

If you like to shop, there's a retail centre which houses a number of well-known clothes outlets. There is also a supermarket, banks and travel agencies should you want to organise a trip. And further, the range of restaurants, cafes and bars on offer at the marina will suit any appetite, day or night.
