There are two Major events a year which has a great following with locals and golfing residents a like and the competitions have grown well over the pass year. Turkey property owners have responded to this great society extremely well and since July 2006 we have over 300 Members (August 2007). The originators of the Golf Society also produce a FREE monthly newsletter called ARENA. ARENA provides news and articles on activities and interests from around the Antalya area. Nirvana International automatically offers your first years membership of the golf society with every Turjey property completion on the Augustus Resort. Golf in TurkeyTurkey is now recognised internationally as an elite golfing centre where players from around the world can meet with prestigious facilities and spectacular surroundings. The excellent climate is an attraction, with the added benefits of high standards of service and accommodation, good value for money, and of course, a fantastic range of international golf courses. Above all, the resort of Belek, on the Mediterranean coast just 30km east of Antalya, is at the heart of golf in Turkey. The first golf course opened in 1994, since then Belek has established itself on the international golf circuit with seven top class courses, and a further five planned. There are also golf courses situated outside Istanbul, Ankara and Mug˘la. Golf in Turkey normally requires handicap certificates, with a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for women. Soft spikes must also be worn.

In May 2006, The Kadriye - Belek Golf Society was set up. The idea being to get enough Golfer's together in order to persuade the golf clubs to reduce their prices for Turkey property owners in the area. The benefits include reduced green fees and bar and food bills and now includes golf tuition as the society has grown.
